It was shown by \textit{K. Aomoto}, \textit{Y. Kato} and \textit{K. Mimachi} [Int. Math. Res. Not. 1992, No. 1, 65, 7-15 (1992; Zbl 0765.39002)] that some elliptic solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation appear in connection with coefficients of a holonomic \(q\)-difference system involved in Jackson integrals (connection coefficients and Yang-Baxter equations were also studied in the context of representations of quantum affine algebras). In the present article the author gives the same result from a different point of view, using Gauss decomposition of a special connection matrix. The author emphasizes that it is interesting to extend this result in a more general context.
