Differences of weighted composition operators on the Bloch spaces (Q844039): Difference between revisions

The author studies boundedness and compactness of the differences of weighted composition operators on Bloch spaces. For a given \(u\in H^\infty\) and \(\varphi:\mathbb D\to \mathbb D\) holomorphic, the operator \(uC_\varphi\) is defined by \(uC_\varphi(f)= u(z)f(\varphi(z))\). Under the assumption \(\sup_{|z|<1} (1-|z|^2)\rho(\varphi(z), \psi(z))(|u'(z)|+ |v'(z)|)<\infty\), the author gives a characterization of the boundedness of \(uC_\varphi- vC_\psi\) on the Bloch space by means of several conditions. Under some mild assumption, also the compactness of the above difference is characterized. The results presented in the paper extend those known for single weighted composition operators and for differences of composition operators.
