The paper is concerned with Liénard equations \[ x''+f(x)x'+g(x)=F(t) \tag{*} \] driven by an almost periodic or asymptotically almost periodic function \(F\). Moreover, besides natural smoothness conditions, it is assumed that \(f\) has nonnegative values and \(g\) is strictly increasing. Using earlier results of the authors on abstract nonautonomous systems, it is shown that a corresponding time dependence for \(F\) guarantees the existence of (asymptotically) almost periodic (resp., almost automorphic, recurrent, pseudo-recurrent) solutions to (*). In addition, also vectorial Liénard equations are considered.
