The authors consider a class of difference methods for the one- dimensional nonlinear parabolic equation \(u_ t=\iota u_{xx}-uu_ x\). These methods are modifications of Saul'yev's difference schemes and use groups of 2 adjacent grid points on a line. Numerical experiments for such implicit-explicit schemes were carried out on two types of computer systems: the ICL DAP and the CRAY-1S. There is a comparison of obtained results with similar results of standard difference methods.
