The author classifies semisimple Hopf algebras of dimension \(12\) over an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(\neq 2,3\). Two non-isomorphic such Hopf algebras \(A_+\) and \(A_-\) are constructed and presented by generators and relations. They are both selfdual, non-commutative and non-cocommutative. The classification result says that a semisimple Hopf algebra of dimension \(12\) is isomorphic to either a group algebra, a dual of a group algebra, \(A_+\) or \(A_-\).
