The paper presents some computational results on eigenvalues of modular forms for Hecke operators, where the forms are defined on the symmetric domain \(B= \{(u,v)\in \mathbb{C}^2\mid 2\Re(v)+ |u|^2<0\}\) for the Picard modular group. The Picard modular group is a discrete subgroup of the unitary group of three variables with respect to the Hermitian matrix \(H= \left( \begin{smallmatrix} 0&1&0\\ 1&0&0\\ 0&0&1 \end{smallmatrix} \right)\), acting on \(B\), when identified with those points of \(\mathbb{P}^2(\mathbb{C})\) with negative sign under the quadratic form associated to \(H\). All Hecke eigenforms of weight up to 12 are determined, and sample eigenvalues are calculated. The associated ring of holomorphic modular forms was extensively examined in the works of \textit{H. Shiga} [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 24, 311-360 (1988; Zbl 0678.10020)], \textit{R.-P. Holzapfel} [Geometry and arithmetic. Around Euler partial differential equations, VEB Deutscher Verlag der Wissenschaften (1986; Zbl 0595.14017); The ball and some Hilbert problems, Birkhäuser (1995; Zbl 0905.14013)] and \textit{J. M. Feustel} [Prepr. Ser. Akad. Wiss. DDR P-MATH-13 (1986); see also Rev. Roum. Math. Pures Appl. 33, 275-281 (1988; Zbl 0662.10020)]. Modular functions of the above type were possibly first considered in the works of \textit{E. 2, 114-135 (1883; JFM 15.0432.01); Acta Math. 5, 121-182 (1884; JFM 16.0385.01)].
