Homogeneous polynomial forms for robustness analysis of uncertain systems (Q2390587): Difference between revisions

The monograph is devoted to some techniques developed by the authors and a number of researchers in the field of robust control, in order to address stability and performance analysis of uncertain systems affected by structured parametric uncertainties. Convex relaxations for different robustness problems are constructed by employing homogeneous forms, i.e., polynomials whose terms have the same degree. Such forms are used to parametrize various classes of Lyapunov functions. The proposed solutions are characterized in terms of linear matrix inequality problems and show a number of nice theoretical and practical features, which are illustrated throughout the book.
