The author describes a new approach to representation formulas for holomorphic functions, including the Cauchy-Fantappiè-Leray formula, and provides a general method to generate weighted representation formulas. Solving the equation \(\nabla_{z-a}u=f\) and using the calculus for residue currents, explicit formulas for division and interpolation, and formulas on manifolds and submanifolds are introduced in a simple way. Weighted formulas in strictly pseudoconvex domains, weighted Cauchy-Weil formulas for an analytic polyhedron, and formulas obtained by the Dolbeault isomorphism are considered. The author briefly indicates how one can obtain Koppelman formulas for \(\overline\partial\) with this new technique.
