The paper presents a boundary element formulation for three-dimensional linear and viscoelastic bodies subjected to body forces and gravity. Both Laplace transformation and time domain formulation are used in the analysis. Particular solutions for stresses and displacements related to the body forces and to the gravity are derived. The Green's functions in the Laplace domain are obtained through the correspondence principle. Several numerical examples are presented for Maxwell model.
