In this paper, the author studied an \(n^{\mathrm{th}}\) order linear differential equation of the form \[ u^{(n)}+p(t)u=0\tag{1.1} \] where \(p \in L_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb{R}_{+}; \mathbb{R}), n \geq 2\). Moreover the author defines property A for equation (1.1) as follows; any of the non-trivial solutions of equation (1.1) is oscillatory, when n is even and either oscillatory or satisfies \[ |u^{(i)}(t)| \downarrow 0 \text{ as }t \uparrow +\infty \ (k=0,\dots,n-1),\tag{1.2} \] when \(n\) is odd. The author defines property B for equation (1.1) as follows; any of its non-trivial solutions either oscillatory or satisfies either (1.2) or \[ |u^{(i)}(t)| \uparrow +\infty \text{ as } t \uparrow +\infty, \ (k=0,\dots,n-1),\tag{1.3} \] when \(n\) is even, and either oscillatory or satisfies (1.3) when \(n\) is odd. The author established several theorems to prove that equation (1.1) has either property A or B. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1479.34005].
