The author points out that Rademacher's celebrated three-term relation for Dedekind sums as well as a more general result of \textit{J. E. Pommersheim} [Math. Ann. 295, 1-24 (1993; Zbl 0789.14043)] are actually equivalent to the special case of Dedekind's classic two-term reciprocity law.
