The book covers the latest research advances within the domain of speaker authentication. The basic concepts along with the state-of-the-art algorithms cover all the major areas: from front-end to back-end, from endpoint detection to decoding, from feature extraction to discriminative training, from speaker recognition to verbal information verification. The work presents the personal research results of the author and is therefore a helpful continuation to textbooks that focus on the fundamental topics in the field. Every chapter is standalone and therefore the reader can choose and fully examine only his/her theme of interest. All the theoretical findings are tested on real-world applications and results demonstrate the potential of the presented approaches; the book is thus useful both for teaching and research, as well as for industry.
