The \(t\)-singular homology is a homology theory for orbifolds defined by the present authors in [Topology Appl. 153, No. 11, 1722--1758 (2006; Zbl 1099.57022)]. The \(t\)-singular homology is a generalization of the singular homology theory of manifolds to orbifolds and depends on the orbifold structure rather than only the underlying space. The \(ws\)-cohomology is a cohomology theory for orbifolds defined in [ibid. 154, No. 8, 1664--1678 (2007; Zbl 1117.57022)]. In this paper, the authors prove a duality theorem between the \(t\)-singular homology and the \(ws\)-singular cohomology group for an orbifold with \(s\)-homological orientation. The proof involves the introduction of a \(t\)-modification of the cap product as well as the ``Convex suborbifold theorem,'' demonstrating that a compact convex \(n\)-dimensional suborbifold of \(\mathbb{R}^n/G\) where \(G\) is a nontrivial finite group is isomorphic to \(B^n/H\) where \(H\) is a subgroup of \(G\) and \(B^n\) is the unit ball in \(\mathbb{R}^n\).
