\textit{P. J. Myrberg} (Ein Approximationssatz über die fuchsschen Gruppen, Acta Math. 57 (1931), 389-409; F. d. M. 57) hat als Folgerung eines allgemeineren Satzes über \textit{Fuchs}sche Gruppen den folgenden Satz gewonnen, für den hier ein neuer Beweis skizziert wird: Fast alle geodätischen Linien einer geschlossenen Fläche konstanter negativer Krümmung approximieren, unbegrenzt fortgesetzt, jeden geodätischen Bogen beliebig gut; sie sind quasiergodisch. Der neue Beweis stützt sich auf Methoden von \textit{J. Nielsen} (1927; F. d. M. 53, 545 (JFM 53.0545.*)).
