The aim of this paper is to derive limit values of high order derivatives of Cauchy integrals and to develop efficient algorithms for computing logarithmic potentials. The paper is structured as follows: After an introduction and various preliminary definitions, the authors introduce the Plemelj Sokhotskyi formula. They then consider the limit values of high order derivatives of the Cauchy integrals. They derive a one-sided Taylor expansion of a single layer logarithmic potential and of a double layer logarithmic potential and then use the Taylor expansions to develop computational algorithms. The paper finishes with some numerical examples.
