    Let \((X,\|\cdot\|)\) and \((Y,\|\cdot\|)\) be Banach spaces, and the space of all continuous linear operators from \(X\) to \(Y\) is denoted by \({\mathcal L}(X,Y)\). Let \(p= (p_k)\) be a bounded sequence of positive real numbers. Define \[ \ell(x,p)= \Biggl\{x= (x_k): \sum^\infty_{k=1} \|x_k\|^{p_k}< \infty\Biggr\},\quad c_0(Y)= \{\text{all \(y\)-valued null sequences}\}. \] Take \(T^n_k\) in \({\mathcal L}(X,Y)\). The author establishes: The matrix \(A=(T^n_k)\in (\ell(X,p), c_0(Y))\) if and only if (1) for each \(k\in\mathbb{N}\), \(T^n_k(x)\to 0\) as \(n\to\infty\) for all \(x\in X\), and (2) there exists \(m_0\in\mathbb{N}\) such that \[ \sup_{(n,k)} m^{-1/p_k}_0 \|T^n_k\|\leq 1. \] The classes \((\ell(X,p), c(Y))\), \((\ell(x,p),\ell_\infty(Y))\) and \((\ell(X,p), \ell_s(Y))\) are also characterized. Some similar results are also proved.
