Wertvoller Beitrag zur Frage des Übergangs arabischen Wissens nach England. Vor allem wird gezeigt, daß in der zweiten Hälfte des 12. Jahrhunderts in Hereford (wohl an einer Kathedralschule) neben der Theologie und den Artes liberales auch arabische Wissenschaft gelehrt wurde.
