The work considers an influence of habitat inhomogeneities (taken as a periodic patterning) on the invasion waves modelled via the reaction-diffusion partial differential equation with the Allee effect reflected in the reaction term. Two variants are considered: the periodically perturbed growth term and the periodically disturbed diffusion coefficient, both kinds of small perturbations result in the emergence of a cone on the parametric plane, within of which there exists a propagation blocking.
