Starting with a general reaction-diffusion system, the authors derive a systematic way for the solution of non-isotropic versions of the following phase equations: the Burgers equation, the KdV-Burgers equation, the Kuramoto-Sivashinski equations and the Benney equation in three spatial dimensions. With this aim, they employ the renormalization group method.
