The two-parameter family \(S^4_{q,\theta}\) of noncommutative 4-spheres generated by \(\alpha,\alpha^*, \beta=\beta^*\) and \(U,U^*\) with the constraints \[ \beta\alpha= q\alpha\beta,\;\alpha^*\beta= q\beta\alpha^*,\;\alpha^* \alpha+ \beta^2+ UU^*=1,\;\alpha\alpha^* +{1\over q^2}\beta^2 +U^*U= 1, \] \[ U\alpha= e^{2\pi i\theta}\alpha U,\;U\alpha^*=e^{-\pi i\theta} \alpha^*U, \;U\beta=\beta U,\;U^*U=UU^* \] is presented. The author says \(S^4_{q,0}\) is the complex (two-dimensional) suspension of Podle's sphere and \(S^4_{1,\theta}\) is the sphere \(S^4_\theta\) of \textit{A. Connes} and \textit{G. Landi} [Commun. Math. Phys. 221, No. 1, 141-159 (2001; Zbl 0997.81045)] (Section 3). Podle's sphere is reviewed in Section 2. Then by using Hilbert space representation \({\mathcal H}_q\) of Podle's sphere, representation of \(S^4_{q,\theta}\) on \({\mathcal H}_q \otimes l^2(\mathbb{Z})\) is constructed in Section 4. In Section 5, a noncommutative vector bundle whose commutative limit recovers the instanton bundle is constructed and its first Chern-Connes character is computed. This is an extension of the results in [\textit{L. Dąbrowski}, \textit{G. Landi} and \textit{T. Masuda}, Commun. Math. Phys. 221, No. 1, 161-168 (2001; Zbl 1045.58003)]. The author remarks that the noncommutative bundle defined by using monopole projector for the quantum sphere lives on the subalgebra of the \(S^4_{q,\theta}\) and therefore would correspond to a trivial bundle over \(S^3\).
