Given two 2-variable weighted homogeneous complex polynomials \(f\) and \(g\), \(f\overline g\) is a weighted homogenous mixed (in Oka's terminology) polynomial which admits a Milnor fibration. An isolated singularity of a mixed polynomial is said to be a mixed Morse singularity if its link is isotopic to the link of a complex Morse singularity as an oriented link. In this paper the author proves that if \(f\) and \(g\) have the same weight and \(f\overline g\) has an isolated singularity, then there exists a deformation of \(f\overline g\) such that the only singularities in a certain neighbourhood are indefinite folds or mixed Morse singularities, i.e., it is a mixed broken Lefschetz fibration.
