Let \(G\) be a compact Lie group with Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g}\). Given a Hamitonian \(G\)-manifold \((M,\Phi,\omega)\), where the 2-form \(\omega\) is not required to be nondegenerated, let \(v: M\to\mathfrak{g}\) be a taming map on \(M\), that is, a smooth \(G\)-equivariant function, and let \(v^\sharp\) be the associated vector field on \(M\). The authors express the Duistermaat-Heckman distribution (untwisted version and twisted version) of the Hamiltonian manifold \((M,\Phi,\omega)\) in terms of local date on arbitrarily small neighborhoods of the localizing set \(Z\), that is, the zero set \(Z\) of the vector field \(v^\sharp\).
