Bilinear forms on the Dirichlet space (Q638817): Difference between revisions

The boundedness of the bilinear Hankel form \(Bb(f,g) = \langle fg,b\rangle \) on the Dirichlet space of holomorphic functions is studied. It is proved that the bilinear form \(Bb(f,g) \) is bounded on the Dirichlet space of holomorphic functions on the unit disk if and only if \(|b'|^2\,dx\,dy\) is a Carleson measure for the Dirichlet space. Even the results are similar to the results on boundedness of Hankel forms on Hardy and Bergman spaces, the proofs are different, using specific techniques of potential spaces, especially the capacity estimates which play a central role in the analysis. The paper is very useful for people interested in Dirichlet spaces, presenting in an attractive way the classical results and giving interesting proofs which require a fine analysis.
