The authors investigated an interesting problem about the growth of the number of geodesics between points and insecurity for Riemannian manifolds. They call a Riemannian manifold uniformly secure if there is a finite number \(s\) such that all geodesics connecting an arbitrary pair of points in the manifold can be blocked by \(s\) point obstacles. \(M\) is a compact Riemannian manifold on which geodesics between any two points in \(M\) can be blocked by \(s\) obstacles. The result proved is that the number of geodesics with length less or equal \(T\) between every pair of points in a uniformly secure manifold polynomial growth as \(T\to\infty\).
