Summary: For each skew shape we define a nonhomogeneous symmetric function, generalizing a construction of \textit{I. Pak} and \textit{A. Postnikov} [''Enumeration of trees and one amazing representation of \(S_n\),'' Proceedings of FPSAC'96 Conference, Minneapolis, MN (1996)]. In two special cases, we show that the coefficients of this function when expanded in the complete homogeneous basis are given in terms of the (reduced) type of \(k\)-divisible noncrossing partitions. Our work extends Haiman's notion of a parking function symmetric function [see \textit{M.D. Haiman}, ''Conjectures on the quotient ring by diagonal invariants, '' J. Algebr. Comb. 3, No.\,1, 17--76 (1994; Zbl 0803.13010)].
