A fusion category is called group-theoretical if it is dual to a pointed fusion category with respect to an indecomposable module category. The question of the existence of a semisimple Hopf algebra over an algebraically closed field \(k\) of characteristic zero which is not group-theoretical was raised, [in the paper Ann. Math. (2) 162, No. 2, 581-642 (2005; Zbl 1125.16025)], by \textit{P. Etingof, V. Ostrik} and the author. An example of a non-group theoretical semisimple quasi-Hopf algebra was also given [loc. cit.]: the fusion category for this example is one of those classified by \textit{D. Tambara} and \textit{S. Yamagami} [in J. Algebra 209, No. 2, 692-707 (1998; Zbl 0923.46052)]. In the paper under review the author answers the above mentioned question by showing a family of semisimple Hopf algebras which are not group-theoretical. These Hopf algebras are all semisolvable, according to \textit{S. Montgomery} and \textit{S. J. Witherspoon} [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 129, No. 3, 315-326 (1998; Zbl 0932.16039)]. The construction is done from a \(\mathbb{Z}_2\)-action on a Tambara-Yamagami fusion category by tensor autoequivalences, as studied by \textit{D. Tambara} [in J. Math. Soc. Japan 53, No. 2, 429-456 (2001; Zbl 0980.18003)]. The author provides in this paper a general criterion for an equivariantization of a fusion category under a finite group action to be group-theoretical.
