In the paper under review, the authors investigate an equivalent condition for a class of Hopf algebras to be co-Frobenius. The main result is as follows. Let \(H\) be a Hopf algebra for which the coradical \(H_0\) is a Hopf subalgebra. Then the following conditions are equivalent: (1) \(H\) is co-Frobenius (i.e., possesses an integral); (2) the associated graded Hopf algebra \(\text{gr }H\) is co-Frobenius; (3) the diagram \(R\) (i.e., the set of coinvariants of \(\text{gr }H\) under the coaction of \(H_0\) induced from the projection \(\pi\colon\text{gr }H\to H_0\)) is finite dimensional; (4) the coradical filtration \(H_0,H_1,\dots\) of \(H\) is finite.
