The title describes the main result: Let \(M\) be any closed orientable 3-manifold, then there are at most finitely many 3-manifolds \(N\) with a geometric structure such that there exists a degree one map \(f : M \rightarrow N\). The proof also shows that for any compact orientable 3-manifold \(M\) with non-empty boundary, there are at most finitely many Seifert manifolds \(N\) for which there exists a map \(f : M \rightarrow N\) of non-zero degree.
