The author defines a cyclic homology of Hopf algebras as the dual version of the cyclic cohomology of Hopf algebras defined by \textit{A. Connes} and \textit{H. Moscovici} [in Lett. Math. Phys. 48, No. 1, 97-108 (1999; Zbl 0941.16024)]. In this framework, the decomposition of the classical cyclic homology of group algebras is interpreted first. Then a family of truncated quiver algebras is considered and its classical cyclic homology is computed. As a special case, the author computes the Taft algebras' cyclic homology as Hopf algebras.
