The authors extend previous work on noncommutative geometric approaches to the fractional Quantum Hall effect to the case of many particles. In particular, \(n\) indistinguishable particles are considered in a negatively curved geometry, so that a configuration of the system is defined in terms of a point on a so-called good two dimensional orbifold. The quantization of the Hall conductance is obtained with a twisted higher index theorem. Overall this model allows for composite fermion and anyon representations. Finally, a conjecture is proposed on how to obtain Laughlin type wave functions from the geometry of the model.
