It is a well-known fact that finite Hopf algebras are also Frobenius algebras. The main goal of this paper is to give a similar result for Hopf monads (a generalization of Hopf algebras) on monoidal categories. In order to do that, after a section of preliminaries, in Section 3 the author shows that biHopf monads produce linearly distributive comonads and vice versa. In Section 4 she considers a strong monoidal fuctor \(U\) between monoidal categories having left adjoint \(L\), such that the resulting adjunction is left Hopf and provides conditions for \(U\) to have a right adjoint \(R\). She also studies when \(U\) is a Frobenius functor. Finally, the last section converts the results obtained in Sections 3 and 4 to Hopf monads.
