Let \((M,\omega)\) be a Kähler-Einstein manifold whose Ricci curvature is a multiple of the metric by a real number \(\lambda\). Let \(L\) be an immersed Lagrangian submanifold. The mean curvature vector field of L is a section \(H\) of the normal bundle. The mean curvature 1-form is defined by \(\sigma_L:=i_H\omega\). The following identity is proved: \[ \lambda [\omega] - \pi \mu = \delta [\sigma_L] \in H^2(M,L), \] where \(\mu\) is the Maslov class and \(\delta:H^1(L) \to H^2(M,L)\) is the homomorphism in the cohomology sequence for the pair \((M,L)\).
