In the present work the author studies quasi-invariance and mutual singularity of the measures associated to Varadarajan's representation. Recall the Fock frame work for the Maxwell electric field, and then let \(\mu_\Delta\) be the standard Maxwell-Fock measure on the dual space \({\mathcal E}^*_\infty\) of tempered distributional 1-forms on \(\mathbb{R}^3\). On one hand, from the loop approach to the Maxwell field, let \(\overline{{\mathcal A}/{\mathcal G}}\) be the space of generalized connections. That is, \(\overline{{\mathcal A}/{\mathcal G}}\) the set all group morphisms from the hoop group \({\mathcal H}{\mathcal A}\) to \(U(1) \), where the hoop group is defined as equivalent classes of loops on \(\mathbb{R}^3\) via holonomies. The group \(\overline{{\mathcal A}/{\mathcal G}}\) is compact in the weakest topology such that all evaluation maps are continuous. Let \(\mu_0\) be the Haar measure of \(\overline{{\mathcal A}/{\mathcal G}}\). Now using maps \(\Theta_r :{\mathcal E}^*_\infty \to\overline {{\mathcal A}/{\mathcal G}}\) (for all \(r>0)\), defined in the work of Varadarajan's \(r\)-Fock representation of the \(U(1)\) holonomy algebra, one has image measure \(\mu_r\) of \(\mu_\Delta\) by the map \(\Theta_r\). The main results obtained in this paper are as follows: 1. All \(\mu_r\) \((r<0)\) and \(\mu_0\) are mutually singular with each other. It follows that \(\mu_r\) is not quasi-invariant under the natural translations of \(\overline{{\mathcal A}/{\mathcal G}}\). 2. On the other hand, \(\mu_r\) \((r>0)\) inherits another kind of quasi-invariance property directly related to the electric operators considered by Varadrajan.
