In the crystal base theory, there is the crystal base \(B(\lambda)\) of the irreducible highest weight module of \(U_{q}(g)\) with a highest weight \(\lambda\). The purpose of this paper is to construct \(B(\lambda)\) in a geometrical way. The author considers a Lagrangian subvariety of a quiver variety following Nakajima and defines a crystal structure on the set of irreducible components of it. Instead of Kac's characterization, a crystal-theoretical characterization of \(B(\lambda)\) is given. By the aid of it, the author shows that the crystal associated to the set of irreducible components is isomorphic to \(B(\lambda)\).
