This is the first paper in a series studying special Lagrangian submanifolds (SL \(m\)-folds) in almost Calabi-Yau \(m\)-folds with singularities locally modeled on special Lagrangian cones in \(\mathbb{C}^m\) with isolated singularity at 0. This first paper is mostly devoted to definitions. An almost Calabi-Yau \(m\)-fold is a compact Kähler \(m\)-fold \((M,\omega)\) with trivial canonical bundle. Let \(\Omega\) be a nonvanishing holomorphic \(m\)-form on \(M\). \(X\) is Lagrangian if \(X\) is of real dimension \(m\) and \(\omega|_X\equiv 0\). \(X\) is special Lagrangian if in addition \(\text{Im\,}\Omega|_X\equiv 0\). Let \(X\) have isolated singular points \(x_1,\dots, x_n\), i.e., \(X\setminus\{x_1,\dots, x_n\}\) is an SL \(m\)-fold in \((M,\omega,\Omega)\). \(X\) is said to be locally modeled on a special Lagrangian cone at \(x_1\) if for some SL cone \(C_1\) in \(T_{x_2}M\cong \mathbb{C}^mX\) approaches \(C_1\) near \(x_2\) in \(C^1\)-sense. Some auxiliary results on symplectic geometry and asymptotic analysis are proven. The main result of this first part is that a special Lagrangian integral current whose tangent cones are ``Jacobi-integrable'' and of multiplicity one is actually an SL \(m\)-fold with conical singularities.
