Explicit formulas for the multipoint series of \(\mathbb {CP}^1\) in degree 0 from the Toda hierarchy are obtained using the recursions of the Toda hierarchy. The degree 0 Gromov-Witten invariants of \(\mathbb {CP}^1\) are expressed in terms of Hodge integrals and then a formula for the Hodge series is derived. It is shown that the Toda equation yields inductive formulas for the higher degree multipoint series of \(\mathbb {CP}^1\). In particular, it is established that these series are integrals of trigonometric functions in all degrees.
