A system \(x' = F(x)\) is considered on a proper cone \(Y\) in \(\mathbb R^n\) and the system defines a local semiflow \(\phi\) on \(Y\). Under the assumptions of the monotonicity of \(\phi\) with respect to a cone \(K\supseteq Y\), the existence of invariant parallel planes \(S_h\) for \(h\in [0, \infty)\), and \(\phi\) having no limit points on \(\partial Y\setminus\{0\}\), it is shown that each \(S_h\) contains a unique equilibrium \(e_h\) and \(e_h\) attracts all of \(S_h\). Then, a class of systems are constructed to have the above properties with easily checkable conditions, which are fulfilled by some example models of chemical reaction networks. This is a very interesting piece of work in monotone dynamical systems.
