In this paper, the traces of CM values of weak Maass forms as generalizations of ``singular moduli'' are studied. In particular, the authors proved that, for weakly holomorphic modular form \(f\) of weight \(0\), the modular trace functions of \(f\) along the Heegner divisors are Fourier coefficients of vector valued weak Maass forms of weight \(3/2\). The origin of this work is Zagier's result on singular moduli. For positive integer \(N\) and negative integer \(D\) which is square modulo \(4N\), let \(\mathcal{Q}_{D,N}\) be the set of the positive definite integral binary quadratic forms \(ax^2+bxy + cy^2\) with discriminant \(D\) such that \(c \equiv 0 \mod{N}\). For \(Q = ax^2 + bxy +cy^2 \in \mathcal{Q}_{D,N}\), we set the CM point associated to \(Q\) as \(\alpha_Q = (-b +\sqrt{D})/2a\). Let \(\Delta\) be a fundamental discriminant or \(1\) and \(d\) be a positive integer such that \(-\mathrm{sgn}(\Delta)d >0\) and \(\Delta\) are square modulo \(4N\). For weakly holomorphic modular form \(f\) of weight \(0\) for \(\Gamma =\Gamma_0(N)\), we set the modular trace function as \[ \mathbf{t}_\Delta(f;d) = \frac{1}{\sqrt{\Delta}} \sum_{Q \in \Gamma \setminus \mathcal{Q}_{-d|\Delta|,N}} \frac{\chi_\Delta(Q)}{|\overline{\Gamma}_Q|}f(\alpha_Q), \] where \(\overline{\Gamma}_Q\) is the stabilizer of \(Q\) in \(\Gamma/\{\pm 1\}\) and \(\chi_\Delta\) is a certain genus character associated with \(\Delta\). For the Hauptmodul \(J(z) = j(z) - 744\), \(N=1\) and \(\Delta>0\), \textit{D. Zagier} [Int. Press Lect. Ser. 3, No. I, 211--244 (2002; Zbl 1048.11035)] proved that the generating function \[ g_\Delta(z) = e^{-2\pi \sqrt{-1}\Delta z} - \sum_{d\geq 0} \mathbf{t}_\Delta(J;d)e^{2\pi \sqrt{-1}d z} \] is a weakly holomorphic modular form of weight \(3/2\). Some people generalized this relation for some directions. As a remarkable result, \textit{J.-H. Bruinier} and \textit{J. Funke} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 594, 1--33 (2006; Zbl 1104.11021)] generalized the above relation for traces of harmonic weak Maass forms of weight \(0\) on modular curves of any genus. However, they only proved for \(\Delta=1\). The main purpose of this paper is to extend Bruinier-Funke's result to any integer \(\Delta\). To prove this, they used twisted version of theta integral with twisted Kudla-Millson theta function and some explicit calculations similar to Bruinier-Funke's. In the final section, the authors concluded to present some applications for the twisted lifts of Eisenstein series and Maass cusp forms, and some computational examples.
