Let \(G\) be a group. The aim of this paper is to give some properties of the symmetric cohomology of \(G\) [see \textit{M. D. Staic}, J. Algebra 322, No. 4, 1360-1378 (2009; Zbl 1172.81014)]. The author shows that there is a well defined restriction, conjugation and transfer map in the symmetric cohomology of a group.
