A standard graded \(K\)-algebra \(R\) with graded maximal ideal \(\mathfrak M\) is Koszul whenever the \(R\)-module \(K\cong R/\mathfrak M\) has a \(R\)-linear resolution (if the defining ideal of \(R\) has a Groebner basis of quadrics, then \(R\) is Koszul). This work is focused on \(1\)-dimensional affine affine semigroups rings (those defined by numerical semigroups). For these rings, there are given effective bounds for the multiplicity of their associated numerical semigroup if its associated graded ring is defind by quadrics, and Koszul complete intersection semigrops are classified in terms of gluings. Finally, for several classes of numerical semigroups, those that are Koszul are classified.
