This article is about irreducible mod \(p\) representations of the \(p\)-adic Lie group \(\mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)\). These representations have been studied by the first author [\textit{R. Abdellatif}, ``Classification des représentations modulo \(p\) de SL(2,F)'', to appear] who classified them, and constructed a mod \(p\) local Langlands correspondence for them, similar to the one given by Breuil for mod \(p\) representations of \(\mathrm{GL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)\). In the article under review, the authors study the restriction to \(\mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{Z}_p)\) of irreducible mod \(p\) representations of \(\mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)\). The corresponding study for \(\mathrm{GL}_2\) was carried out by the second author [\textit{S. Morra}, J. Algebra 339, No. 1, 252--303 (2011; Zbl 1239.22012)]. The main result of the article under review (Theorem 1.1) is a complete description of the \(\mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{Z}_p)\)-socle filtration of the irreducible mod \(p\) representations of \(\mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)\). The proof combines the results and techniques of the two articles cited above. As the authors point out, the same arguments can be applied to other \(p\)-adic Lie groups of relative rank \(1\) over \(\mathbb{Q}_p\).
