The author studies a general relativistic model of self-gravitating charged collisionless particles, based on an Einstein-Vlasov system coupled with Maxwell equations. Different symmetries are considered: surface symmetry, plane symmetry, hyperbolic symmetry. The results deal mainly with the future completeness of causal trajectories and the global existence of the solutions.
