An L-space is a rational homology sphere with the simplest Heegaard Floer homology. A knot is called an L-space knot if it admits a non-trivial Dehn surgery creating an L-space. In the paper under review, for a given L-space knot, infinitely many new L-space knots are constructed by twisting the knot along an unknotted curve. The author gives several sufficient conditions for achieving this purpose. As by-products, new families of L-space twisted torus knots are found. In the last part of the paper, the tunnel number of L-space knots is examined. \textit{K. L. Baker} and \textit{A. H. Moore} [``Montesinos knots, Hopf plumbings, and L-space surgeries'', \url{arXiv:1404.7585}] showed that for any integer \(n\), there exists an L-space knot whose tunnel number is greater than \(n\). However, their examples are satellite knots. As an application, the author gives infinitely many hyperbolic L-space knots with tunnel number two. The main tool throughout the paper is the technology of seiferters developed by \textit{A. Deruelle}, \textit{K. Miyazaki} and \textit{K. Motegi} [Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 1021, iii-v, 130 p. (2012; Zbl 1277.57010)]. The paper also presents interesting questions at the end.
