This paper is also devoted to the study of Shimizu's model (see the preceding review of part I, Zbl 0694.92007). In particular, the probability distribution for the allelic configuration of two chromosomes in a population is found by deriving the probability generating function. Although it looks horribly complicated the author manages to derive some useful results from it. This paper is based on a ``coalescent approach'' that traces ancestors back in time and makes essential use of earlier results of the author [e.g. Theor. Popul. Biol. 27, 298-317 (1985; Zbl 0572.92016)]. Again some numerical examples are given.
