We construct small (in amplitude) periodic (with respect to \(t\) and \(x\)) solutions of \(u_{tt}- u_{xx}+ u^3= 0\), in the form \(u(t, x)= \varepsilon y(\alpha t, x, \varepsilon)\), \(\alpha= \sqrt{1+ \varepsilon^2}= 1+ 1/(a+ p)\), \(a\in \mathbb{N}\) and \(y(\tau, x, \varepsilon)\) is \(2\pi\)-periodic with respect to \(\tau\) and \(x\) and satisfies the equation \((1+ \varepsilon^2) y_{\tau\tau}- y_{xx}+ \varepsilon^2 y^3= 0\).
