A simple balanced incomplete block design (that is one without repeated blocks) with parameters \((v,k,\lambda,r,b) = (36,6,2,14,84)\) is constructed. The design has \(P\Gamma L(2,8)\) as an automorphism group acting transitively on the blocks (with \(Z_ 3\times S_ 3\) the block stabilizer) and acting with rank 3 on the points. Table 1 of this paper lists the weight distributions of the codes associated with the (36,6,2,14,84) design constructed by the author.
