Monotonely Cauchy locally-solid topologies (Q1177714): Difference between revisions

The complete lattice of monotonely Cauchy locally solid topologies on a given lattice-ordered group is studied. Identifying topologies agreeing on order intervals this lattice becomes a complete Boolean algebra realizable as a Boolean algebra of order projections. As an application an analogue of Yosida-Hewitt decomposition for group homomorphisms is also given. The methods are connected with \textit{T. Traynor} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 220, 307-319 (1976; Zbl 0334.28010)] and \textit{H. Weber} [Measure theory, Proc. Conf., Oberwolfach 1983, Lect. Notes Math. 1089, 181-198 (1984; Zbl 0552.28011)].
