The author studies a singularly perturbed second order quasilinear ordinary differential equation on an infinite interval. The existence and uniqueness of solution of the perturbed problem are proved under certain sufficient conditions, and the errors between the solution of the perturbed problem and the solution of the degenrated problem are examined.
