The paper focuses on solving and discussing the following problems which are principal in the study of integral representations in conformal field theories: (i) Fock space representations of affine Lie algebras; (ii) Free-boson field realization of Sugawara energy-momentum tensor on Fock spaces; (iii) Screening operators; (iv) Generalized hypergeometric integrals obeying the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations for affine Lie algebras. The problem (i) was solved earlier [\textit{B. L. Feigin} and \textit{E. V. Frenkel}, Commun. Math. Phys. 128, No. 1, 161-189 (1990; Zbl 0722.17019)]. However, it still deserves attention with regard to that a fine structure of Fock representations of affine Lie algebras is needed to resolve the other problems, in particular, the problem of constructing the current operators. As far as the problem (ii) is concerned, it has been proved that the Sugawara energy-momentum tensor on the Fock spaces is quadratic in free bosons.
