Let \(M\) be a von Neumann algebra and \(P(M)\) be the lattice of all projections in \(M\). A function \(\mu: P(M)\to\mathbb{C}\) is called a signed measure on \(P(M)\) if \(\mu(\sum_{i\in I} e_ i)=\sum_{i\in I}\mu(e_ i)\) for \(e_ i\in P(M)\), \(e_ i e_ j=0\), \(i\neq j\). It is proved that any signed measure on the lattice of projections of a continuous von Neumann algebra is bounded. This fact is generalized also for vector-valued measures.
